“We can’t put one past you Pitchfork.” Stephen Colbert did the unthinkable earlier this week and turned a Daft Punk no show into possibly an even better show than if the robots had actually showed up. Pitchfork smelled a rat and suggested that maybe it had been Colbert’s plan to fake announce Daft Punk and promote the VMAs all along. Well Stephen Colbert decided to address those rumors last night:
