Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson’s llama sabotaged duets to finally be released

michaeljacksonfreddiemercuryBack in 1983 Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson collaborated in a recording session featuring the duo singing There Must Be More to Life Than This, State of Shock and Victory that has unfortunately never seen the light of day. Queen members Brian Taylor and Roger May are working to resolve that and release them this fall. The reason the project was never completed orginally? Michael Jackson brought a llama to the studio. From an interview with Freddie’s manager Jim ‘Miami’ Beach in The London Times:

“They got on well except for the fact that I suddenly got a call from Freddie, saying, ‘Miami, dear, can you get on over here… You’ve got to get me out of here. I’m recording with a llama… I’ve had enough and I want to get out,”
