bowiesonicMusicians Alexis Kirke and Martyn Ware have turned David Bowie’s career into sonic form based on his lyrics and album sales. From Wired:

The duo discovered compelling patterns in the numerical data from Bowie’s career, and have highlighted these patterns through “sonification”, the audio display of non-sound data. Sonification is more commonly used in the form of Geiger counters and heart rate monitors. It has also been used to make patterns discernible in complex data, such as stock market data.
